Core training which is compulsory to complete in order to qualify as a Boots Macmillan Information Pharmacist to support customers living with cancer.

Since 2009, the partnership between Boots UK and Macmillan Cancer Support has worked to make sure that people living with cancer have access to the best cancer information and support from within their local community. We aim to give everyone, everywhere, the best cancer information and support they need in a place that’s every day, reliable and familiar and trusted. So everyone can live life as fully as they can.

By volunteering to become a BMIP, you are signing up to be an essential part of this partnership. This training will help you to understand different types of cancer, treatments, medications, and side effects, as well as equipping you to guide customers living with cancer to other sources of information and support.
