What is the Recovery Package?

The Recovery Package is a series of key interventions which, when delivered together, can greatly improve outcomes for people living with and beyond cancer.

The Recovery Package is made up of 4 direct components:

  • Holistic Needs Assessment, Care and Support Planning.
  • Treatment Summary.
  • Health and Wellbeing Events.
  • Cancer Care Review.

These interventions are further supported by the knowledge:

  • Consequences of treatment.
  • Information about healthy lifestyle.
  • Physical activity.
  • Work and financial support.

Which aim to support people's wellbeing through their cancer experience.
