Learning Objectives

After working through this resource:

  • Volunteers will understand what Macmillan means when we talk about carers
  • Volunteers will understand who carers are, and why they might not themselves identify as carers
  • Volunteers will understand what support needs carers may have, and what services Macmillan has that can help them
  • Volunteers will be able to use this information to offer support to carers and signpost them to extra services in Macmillan
