A report by the Care Quality Commission says that unhappy patients find it difficult to complain about NHS, as they are let down by a stressful and confusing system.
CQC claims that the way NHS deals with complaints is inadequate. Most people do not even file a complaint, as they are confused, worried about the effects it might have on the care they receive, or sure they would not be listened to.
MP Ann Clywd welcomes the report and claims that "change is expected as a result".
