The final category we are featuring from the Macmillan Professionals Excellence Awards is the Team Excellence category.
This is the only award that focuses on high performing teams - who are central to improving outcomes for people affected by cancer.
The team can be any group of at least four people who work together to provide a service, and only needs to include one Macmillan professional. They should be able to demonstrate how they've developed their roles, relationships and processes to create high quality and efficient services.
In 2013, the Team Excellence winners were the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre, East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, and the Lymphoedema Service, Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board.
