The Service Improvement award is given to individuals who made tangible improvements to services offered to people affected by cancer. The individual will need to have exceeded their role's requirements and be able to demonstrate the change in services provided, as well as how it has benefited people.
Last year's winners were Sarah Burton, Macmillan Lead Gynae-Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist; Ruth Thompson, Macmillan Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialist; and Kathryn Elias, Macmillan Oncology Physiotherapist.
