Who is the course for?

All volunteers, especially those who interact with the public.

Our aim

To ensure all volunteers are able to recognise and report concerns which may impact on child protection or a person’s ability to live an independent life, free from abuse.

What you need to know

The course contains details of abuse, self-harm and suicide. If you find any element of the course upsetting, please take a break, speak to your line manager, a friend or the Safeguarding team and stop the course if you feel necessary.
